History

DenTeC was launched by the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in July 2001 following the excitement generated by the “virtual mouth” project. Two years later DenTeC signed its first contract for testing with a well-known dental manufacturer. Since then, DenTeC has entered into contractual agreements with several manufacturers and technology companies including Dentsply, one of the largest dental manufacturers in the world.
